Idk who invented this “appropriate time to wait” but I’ve never followed it. I think it’s from back in the day when people had landlines. I can see how getting called at home all the time would be a bother.
But anyway, if it was fun, I’ll text someone right after a date or a hangout. Something like, “I had such a good time! Get home safe!” If we took pictures, I’ll send the photos.
When I get the idea to do something else, I’ll also text immediately. For example, “Did you see the *Barbie* trailer? Wanna go? We should all wear pink.” Then I’ll include the link.
If they’ve talked about anything that could be a group activity, a movie, a show, a concert, that’d be a good thing to mention. “Hey, I remembered you saying you like ____. Wanna go to the ____ on (date)?” But again, I don’t think too hard. Even if it’s something random, I’ll shoot my shot. You never know.
