Is the son asleep?
[Parenting Magazine](https://www.parents.com/parenting/relationships/sex-and-marriage-after-baby/is-it-bad-to-have-sex-with-your-baby-in-the/)
Is it terrible? No. Will you be the first parent to have sex with a baby asleep in the room? Definitely not. The fact is babies (especially newborns) can sleep through most anything, including the sounds of sex.

“If the child’s younger than six months old, you probably don’t need to worry,” Dr. Michele Borba, author of *The Big Book of Parenting Solutions*, says. “It’s unlikely there would be problems, only happy, contented parents

No stated opinions on having sex with a young child in the room.
If the baby is asleep sometimes you just have to get creative. As a parent who wants to keep the marriage healthy too sometimes you got to make it work 🤷♀️
No, not weird. Do you expect to go without? The baby can’t even roll over let alone understand what you are doing.
8 week old? Nope, you guys gets yours every chance you can
8 weeks? No not at all. Why are you sleeping in a different room than your husband?
I think it’s worse that you don’t sleep with your husband.
Its not going to cause harm but that wont stop some people from feeling weird about it. It wont cause harm not doing it either so finding another place to do it where you can both be comfortable seems like an easy fix
The baby has no idea what is happening. Plus I understand moving the bassinet can wake him and that is stressful. If it bothers you, try putting the bassinet elsewhere ahead of time. But honestly at that age they usually are sleeping in the same room as you to prevent SIDS, so don’t feel bad.
Are you even cleared for sex yet?
Not weird once your cleared though.
