What does your dream house look like?

  1. A big, fenced in back yard. A deck big enough for outdoor furniture and a nice grill. A porch swing either in the yard or on a porch somewhere. Lots of big trees to give the yard some shade. A garden bed where we can grow our favorite vegetables. At least 3 bedrooms with a large living room/kitchen space. A separate small den/office space. I don’t care about a formal dining room, but I would want a large dining space, maybe like a nook in the kitchen. Also a nice view of the mountains would be the cherry on top.

  2. A stone cottage with large windows to the patio, with a large garden. A small wooded area with a couple of fruit trees on one side and small vegetable garden, and a creek with a pool large enough to submerge in flowing through, surrounded by flowers. A high fence, so no one can take a peek. The inside would be decorated in Japandi styles, the outside a mix of old and new.

  3. Cozy cabin with lots of plants, big backyard with lots of garden space, open concept interior, 3 or 4 bedrooms, rainfall shower in the bigger bedroom ensuite bathroom, and a wrap around porch.

  4. A hyper modern, spacious flat in all white and grey, with a large balcony with a view over a luscious park.

  5. I would like something away from people in the country, white two story with wide rooms and high ceilings. Country style home vibe. Wrap around porch with a swing. Pink front door, pink mailbox. If it’s my dream house I would have a bunch of bedrooms, idek how many. I would want a cool man cave, a huge walk in closet, a bar, movie theatre, sauna, inground pool with a slide and water falls, lazy river, big hot tub. I would have a lot of land so maybe i would have chickens, definitely would want a massive garden. I would also want deep sinks in the kitchen with the cool stone fountains. I would have a beautiful view of something, just pretty scenery. Nice wild life that visits.

  6. One of the historic Victorians in Providence RI with a little garden in the back. Walkable to a grocery store, dog park, and coffee shop. We’d grow tomatoes and herbs, and there would be so many rooms that we could each have a home office, plus a room for the cats to destroy, plus a guest room. We’d get two giant couches and a big dining table and have people over all the time for themed dinner parties and movie nights. We would collect local artists’ work and hang it up, and buy antique furniture, and it wouldn’t matter that the house would be constantly in need of repair because we would have infinite money.

  7. Stone Tudor cottage, lots of natural greenery. I love climbing ivy. Big heavy wooden door with the caged peep hole, covered porch with antique metal chairs and small table. I love old, antique, natural, stone. Like a witches cottage inside and contrary to popular opinion, I love dark walls. Dark brown with antique mirrors and paintings, an old hutch or coat tree. God I could go on for hours. You get the vibe! ☺️

  8. Probably unrealistic, but a tunnel slide with a window that goes outside the house and connects the top and bottom stories.
Also a hot tub and a pool around a small island with fruit trees.

Like I said, probably unrealistic and impractical, but that was the house I designed as a kid and built out of Legos, and I thought it looked cool.

  9. Just the right size, not too big because that’s too much cleaning.

    3 bed, 2 bath. Around 1400-1800sqft.

Flat fenced lush grass backyard. Full privacy. With one or two fruit trees.

An enclosed glass solarium thing for chillin and drinking tea.

A view of the ocean and mountains at the front of the house.

  10. Classic style Mediterranean villa in Toscana, in the middle of some lavendulan fields and olive tree parks…

  11. Medieval Gothic house with a round conservatory in the back, rod iron fencing in the front, wide sweeping staircase for my dramatic entrances.

  12. A 4 bedroom house, with a huge garden and high fencing (we have two cats). A garage and a driveway; wood flooring with under flooring heating. Every bedroom has a walk in closet and its own bathroom/shower. Open layout with a kitchen island, your basic appliances (gas stove and oven, American style fridge, dishwasher, double sink, built in Nespresso coffee machine hahaha). The living/dining area has huge windows that open into the garden. Big trees and a veggie garden next to fences; a big stone bbq/oven. Space to put a regular pool, like the ones you have to inflate lol. Tons and tons of play space!

  13. A 3 bd Craftsman home like I see in Bungalow Heaven in Pasadena. A largish guest house or workshop for my bestie to put his recording studio, far enough from neighbors that the sound won’t bother them. A shady back porch and a small garden, but not too much work to maintain.

  14. Old Victorian, maximalist decor. I love bold, wacky & fun interiors on an old palette
