One weird thing I’ve found that really works is not so much the joke, but rather *how badly I want to make it*. Good humor is delivered by people who want to be in that social situation. The more you are enjoying the company, the funnier the joke.
That’s just personal experience, and I have **no** idea why, but for some reason I’ve noticed that’s how it goes. Probably has something to do with human connection!
Remove your filter. Just impulsively say things that make YOU laugh
Fart. And then giggle. Others will laugh with you. That’s one type of humor at least.
