So I take Prozac right, and I’m a virgin and I started to know my body a little deeper this year, so I started masturbating. I like it and I feel pleasure but I don’t really feel the necessity to do it as much as I feel necessity for sex itself. Idk if this has to deal with my medication but when u masturbate I barely get wet, but when I was with my boyfriend I was taking Prozac(same mg and all)at that time as well and I used to get VERY wet. I hasn’t been able to reach orgasm but I feel ten times more stimulated when I’m with someone than alone. Like I know many women cum with clitorial stimulation alones but that hasn’t happen to me yet…Any advice?

  1. Oral sex is great to give to a women when done properly. You say you are a virgin but have explored oral sex? Has the guy been inexperienced? Guys need to learn how to give oral sex, listen to what a women likes and wants. Tell a guy what feels good and to keep doing it. And don’t let him randomly go at it like crazy

  2. For some this will pass, others no. Give it some time and if things don’t get better then let the doc know. There is a Ssri for everyone thank god!

  3. SSRIs are known for the sexual side effects. It’s normal for sex with another person to be more arousing than masturbation so it makes sense that you’re still feeling things more intensely with partners than alone. I know for the three months I was on Prozac, it took an hour or so minimum to orgasm by myself. Still felt good, but most of the time, it wasn’t happening
