1. Just wear protection and you won’t have too….but 90% of the time they have herpes too.

2. Please tell them before any sort of intimacy, i.e. oral, intercourse, etc.

4. Before they have any chance to contract it through physical contact.

5. Which one? HSV-1 (oral) or HSV-2 (genital)? Most people already have the oral version, so no need to mention it. If you have the genital version, mention it before the first date.

8. One of my Xes told me he had herpes on our second date. It was overwhelming and in my opinion a bit too soon. But you definitely need to bring it up before you get sexual.

9. I am pretty sure they have it too just never got tested! Tell them to take std test before you disclose! Also Herpes is very common nothing to be ashamed of. If you read the history, they didnt know how to sell the drug they created so they created panic about herpes. Herpes doesnt cause any complications, just avoid having sex around the outbreak. I am sure at some point the whole world will have herpes.
