As an adult, what do you wish you could’ve done better for your siblings?

1. Showing up n being there always is utmost important! Learnt it the hard way after losing my parents.

3. There’s a huge age gap, so he’s still a kid, and I’m 30. Sometimes I wish I could be there more often, I know how our parents can be. I always let him know I’m a text/phone call away though.

4. I wish I had protected them more. I got out as soon as I turned 18, but my youngest siblings were only 13 at the time, and I made them navigate an abusive home alone. I don’t regret it, there’s no way I could have stayed in that environment after dealing with it from such a young age, but I wish I could have done more.
