I have limited kitchen equipment at work, basically kettle and microwave and I’m bored with sandwiches.
What i do at least twice a week is i get one of those microwavable green veg medaly put it in your own tub with some beef chunks, bit of butter and a spoonfull of Bovril. 2.5 mins in the microwave and you have a relatively healthy (shit Load of salt though) pretty substantial meal in no time.

This time of year, I love a salad, and I don’t mean a sad pile of lettuce and tomatoes. For example, one salad I’m really loving atm is made with beetroot, orange segments, spinach, dried cranberries, mozzarella/halloumi/feta, and toasted sunflower seeds. Another one I enjoy is a pesto pasta salad with sun-dried tomato, cheese, rocket, red onion, courgette and olives.
I also enjoy a “picky” lunch. Stuff like bread sticks or crackers, olives, cheese, hummus, mini quiches or pies, falafel, egg muffins etc.
2 pints of Guinness, 1 packet of pork scratchings, 7 cigarettes
Domino’s pizza on the company.
Tuna pasta is a good one
The other half likes to make chicken pesto wraps. Cook a few chicken thighs in the oven, chop them up, remove any bones if needed, throw it into a bowl or container, mix with a jar of red pesto and some mayonnaise, throw in some chopped up red onion. Make up a couple of wraps each day, gets a few days lunches out of it. Could even add lettuce or tomato to the wrap if you wanted.
Would work mixed with pasta too.
