a couple days ago, me and a friend met someone that i liked and would like to keep talking to, but i didn’t get her number. my other friend did though. i want to ask her for the new friend’s number but im afraid of overstepping her boundaries if she didn’t actually want me to have her number as it could be considered personal information.
pretty much, im afraid that it could be inappropriate and i dont want to make things weird between me and either of them, so how do i ask for her number?

You ask your friend to ask her if it’s okay that she gives you her number. Best give the real reason.
