There’s a co worker I have been interested in for some time I have been trying to get the courage to ask them out. When they’re at work I always make time to talk. The only problem is they hardly work the same days as I do (I’m part time at this job and our shits hardly align) I have them on social media, and there is an event going on this weekend where I really think it would be a fun first date opportunity. Would it be weird just for me to send them a message over Facebook to ask them out? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I should add that I would definitely prefer to ask them out in person, but it seems like we only see each other every couple of weeks

Definitely wait and do it in person.
Next shift you’re on together just invite them to wherever it is you go to unwind after work.
