I am still a virgin but that’s just a performance anxiety type thing. I’m “bi” but I prefer women 90% of the time. I want to have sex with a man just so I know what to do with a women, but sex with a man would probably just be a hookup/fwb type thing. Is that dumb? for those that have lost it to a hookup/fwb, do you regret it?

I’m sorry, how is having sex with a man going to help you with how to have sex with a woman? If you want to know how to have sex with a woman, I’d think the best way to learn would be to find a female partner that is very open with communication and willing to learn with you.
Why not just fall in love with a woman and have sex with her?
i love my virginity to a girl that became a fwb, then when life took us different ways it wasn’t a big deal. i know people that lost it to their first bf/gf and were upset when they broke up because he/she got my virginity.
sex is fun, it doesn’t have to be tied to a relationship just because society says it should be, you’re young, enjoy

Having sex with a man won’t teach you anything about women lol, sometimes it won’t even help you with men depending on how good the partner is. If you prefer women I would look for a female partner, would probably be a better experience in general.
If you have a casual attitude about sex (and are aware of your body and what you like already) you probably won’t regret losing it to a hookup or a fwb, if you’re someone who’s more emotional, less sexual, or needs more support then it’ll probably be better to have your first time be with a romantic partner
Most men can’t even find the clitoris. I have a few women friends who are bi, and they all say sex with a woman is better. If you’re leaning towards women, then find a woman to teach you.
