Husband is teaching me how to pull our 5th wheel camper with his extended-cab one ton so I can take it about 6 hours’ north for an annual girls’ trip. (I usually drive a standard half ton, but have very little towing experience. I mean, why would I when he always does it?) The cabin we usually rent was already booked, but there was one, literally one, space left at one campsite that will fit our rig. I did well this morning hooking it up, moving it around our property, backing it into place w his guidance & I have a month & a half to practice. Thank you, dear husband!!

  1. My wife has gotten pretty good with our 30’. I’m still uneasy with her taking it alone but she’s done it 3 times now for similar reasons. She does struggle with the stabilizer bars occasionally. just do your circle checks twice and once more for good measure and take your time.
