I am curious about the use of BADGE (Bisphenol A diglycidyl ether used for coatings of canned food) or other derivatives of BPA around the EU countries. I know that BPA is forbidden is some EU countries, but what is the status of its derivatives?

  1. If it isn’t forbidden in children bottles, plates and other food instruments, at least it’s really difficult to find it in Spain. It’s also pretty common to find BPA-free water bottles and so from reputable brands outside children tableware, but you will also find BPA in common, cheap, or no-branded objects.
