I ask because I generally find it from the opposite end to be not a great experience for a guy most often.
If a girl never responds after 2 texts then obviously she was never interested, but it really sucks and is demoralizing when you are texting back and forth with a girl but she keeps giving you the “Run around” or flaking or saying how busy she is etc…
I just don’t understand it especially when a girl texts back and gives the # in the first place..

Personally I hate giving out my number and only do if someone insists and then I just ignore their texts similar to how you mentioned
In my experience about 1/10. And I’m being generous.
I got 2 girls social media for them both to just completely blank me.
I was extremely kind to the first one she was open to giving me her social and then she just never actually answered me. So I met someone else and got her social and again she completely blanked me.
I was very kind and after they blanked me I never said anything I just left it as it was. It’s never a good feeling when you get ghosted
