How do you control your thoughts?

  1. It’s hard to describe, but I feel like I can control where I put my attention. Just like I can choose what to pay attention to with external stimulus, I can choose what I’m thinking about and concentrate harder on certain things. In that way I control what I’m thinking about and what I’m focused on.

  2. My thoughts itself not really it’s more redirecting my focus onto something, such as “is this something I have control over ? No, so no need to even think of it, it’ll get solved by itself”.

  3. Struggle with this. I try to give myself a break and say to myself ” your thoughts are yours alone and no one can read your mind. As long as you don’t act on these thoughts, there are no consequences”
