Been on delivered for a week and I texted my crush something funny about an art project I made when we were In class together, she responded soon after “they didn’t know how hard u worked on it it’s a masterpiece 😫”, now I was gonna say “yeah they didn’t know ___ teacher was on my ass about it lol” then ask her to hang out next week by saying “I’m doing xyz on Wednesday wanna come with” but is that too straiget forward? Should I make more small talk?

Be straightforward with her don’t beat around the bush. Say hey ” insert her name what are you doing this day can we hang out? I know it can anxiety inducing but you got this man!
I’d crack a compliment joke like “EXACTLY see I knew you had good taste” “you busy on wednesday? I’m doing xyz, was gonna ask if you wanna come with”
Gives her an out so it’s not pressured, but also an opportunity to reschedule 🙂
