So I posted my profile for review and y’all gave me a lot of good advice.
I also downloaded Hinge per many suggestions. I immediately got but a single match… but holy cow guys! Matched with an incredibly beautiful woman who is well traveled, and seems to be sweet and funny. We have our first date this Saturday!
There were way too many comments to respond to them all but genuinely thank you to all the advice, and wish me luck this weekend 😬

Good luck this weekend. I had pretty good sucess with hinge aswell, but having moved around alot id say every place seems to have its “prefered app”

You can be happy but don’t overhype a stranger. You don’t know her and you don’t know if you’re a good match/compatible yet. To not get disappointed I encourage you to take her off the pedestal in your mind. Meet with her, ask questions, see how it goes. Afterwards, realistically ask yourself what you like and don’t like about her. Then drop it, and go about your day. Don’t let her consume your thoughts of lust, again you don’t know her so she doesn’t deserve a place in your mind or heart yet until you get to know her more.
If you don’t connect well it’s OKAY. There’s lots of women out there and someone else will be a better match for you. Let the date flow, no pressure to see her again or date her. No pressure.

Bumble is a total unserious app IMHO. I matched a with a guy first day on hinge and we’ve been talking about serious relationship. It’s just so much better!
