My dad wants to set me up with his coworker

My dad (62M) thinks that me (23F) would get along well with his coworker (22/23M). He’s told me that his coworker is nice and tall. I open to the idea of seeing him, but there’s got to be a better way than my dads idea. My dad proposed that we go on a hike as a family (a fairly regular thing for us) and invite his coworker along. My reservations are as follows (1) I think it’s so strange to meet someone as a setup with your parents there (2) We aren’t 100% sure he’s single but my dad doesn’t want to ask that outright. I’m open to meeting him but there’s got to be a better way
