I’m moving out from a rented place. My stupid a** used a gorilla tape to stick a poster on the wall and I couldn’t remove the tape residue now!! I tried the solutions on google (e.g. hairdryer to dissolve, soap+ vinegar remove) and the paint chipped off 🙁
Q: What can I do to reduce the damage and avoid fines? Should I paint the wall?

Thin smear of filler to fill the pain chip holes and paint over the top . it will look like a different shade of white till it dries
I’d buy some ~~landlord white~~ “brilliant white” paint and do up a patch. Try blending in. It will be visible if you know what you’re looking for but hopefully not visible enough for them to fine you.
