What do YOU think world would be like in 10 to 15 years?

  1. I think first world countries will have UBI and most people will not work, or society as we know it collapses

  2. Probably no different. We’ll all be fighting about something a bit different but that’s it.

  3. the rich will be richer. the poor will be poor. temp will be hotter. more technology but basically the same

  4. I’ll probably have kids and my wife and I will have bought a house. That’s my world.

  5. Maybe it’s a dumb take but I think this AI boom will be a nail in the coffin for the internet as we know it.

  6. AI. AI is the future. AI taking over jobs. First some jobs will go and people in “more secure” careers will think they are safe. Then those jobs will get taken by AI too. No job is safe. Farmers, Doctors, Lawyers, Clerks, Therapists, etc. Even creative jobs like musicians, actors, and artists will be overtaken by AI. Following this will be mass unemployment.

Not sure if this will be one decade, or two, or three. But over the next century this is the progressive that will happen. And we all have to hope we can find away to support a society financially where everyone is unemployed before that happens to everyone.

Oh and the world will start getting hotter. Hopefully we can fix that too.

Believe it or not Im not a pessimist though. I think we’ll get through it. Our species is adaptable. People will suffer from famine and unemployment. Maybe on a mass global scale worst case. It wont be fun. But somehow someway we will figure it out. I really believe that. Sooner we start working on the issues the better though.

  7. The future’s going to be AMAZING!

The way we work will change drastically as will the way we travel and live.

Battery powered craft will automate and revolutionize logistics, marine transport, the air and thankfully the morning commute.

The jobs will change, that’s true. Rebuilding the coral reef, cleaning up the Pacific garbage patch, reintroducing the 60% of creatures that have died off in the last forty years will take time but we’ll get it done, as we’ll have help from robotics, and quantum computers.
A therapeutics revolution is already underway and advancement in cellular oxidation isn’t just getting us the 40 year lifecycle battery, it’s helping us rewind and undo what aging ravages.

We’ll have factory produced meat that will be far more healthy, tasty and economical at scale than the current farming methods. Farming equipment is and will continue to be automated, freeing us to do other work.

If I’d have told you that YouTube, launched in 2005, would have 2.5 billion active users, generate millions of dollars per year – some single channels making 20+ million, you’d have called me crazy.

  8. Don’t care much about the world but glad I have a shitpot bunch of coolers filled with ammo for here…

  9. Bitcoin will be banned by and hated by as many governments as it is loved and adopted.

  10. The only thing that’ll change is technology.

It’ll still be the same shithole with the exact same issues.

  11. Well, with the way things are evolving, probably another world war, along with intense climate change.
