How much do you pay for childcare?

2. Pre-K is about $1000 per month.

5. Like 2200/month for a 3 year old and a baby.

6. You can’t just go buying kids.

7. Absolutely nothing. Though, then again that is super easy when you do not have any children.

8. My kids were last in daycare in June 2021 they were 4 and 3. It was $1950 per month. Northern Virginia

9. My 4yo goes 3x a week and it’s roughly 230/week.

10. How much is a box of condoms? I haven’t bought any in a few months.

11. Daycare is about $3k/month for 1 child and it was the only daycare place that had availability before parental leave was over.

13. We paid ~$2k/mo for 1 kid in the DC suburbs.

    Now private elementary school is ~$38k/yr

14. You want to sell them or pawn them? $25.00 is the best I can do. I take all the risks.

15. Prior to COVID, about 1800 a month (more than my mortgage). COVID opened some opportunities for me to make considerably more money, and so my wife and I decided it would be best if she remained home with the children while I worked.

16. I don’t. My wife is stay at home so she does all the child care during the work day.

18. When they were infants through to preschool, I was paying $1800/mo for a nanny. When I was paying for preschool it was $1200/mo/kid.
