Can I just vent about how fantastic this date was?

She invited me out for salsa for the first date. Right off the bat before dancing, we’re touching, leaning in closer to each other, laughing flirting.

I’m making a clown of myself dancing initially, but I start getting rhythm. I’m cracking jokes, we’re dancing close, etc. Even when the older guy interrupted our conversation and took her to dance I laughed it off. She called me over and I said “You didn’t want your tuition paid?”

Pushing limits, being vulnerable even over all the noise and commotion.

She then asks me to karaoke. I agree then she takes my phone to add my number and flirts with me about the 🍆🍑 in my emoji history.

I give her space between getting to the new spot then things continue on, I meet some of her friends, but we move to the back to talk a bit closer with each other.

She started talking about needs and desires being filled, so I shot my shot and told her I might be able to meet them in a innocuous way. She laughed and said it was a little too soon.

Towards the end of the night she goes to the stage to sing and does really, really good.

We end up heading out, and I told her I was saying bye to her friends which took her by surprise.

I walk her back to her car, just a nice hug and a final conversation, giving her the lowdown on me and my intentions.

She lets me know that she enjoyed herself again via text, – a couple days later, we’re going on a Museum date later today.

This whole night I had a few drinks in me, nothing sloppy – she didn’t drink and I’m honestly glad she got to see me as I really am and that I can still respect boundaries even under the influence.
