(28M) Been on four dates with this girl (26F) over the last month. She has stated that she likes to take things very slow. She has been sending me about one text a day for the last week. I asked her out for an ice cream date and she says she isn’t really interested in getting ice cream because she had a lot of ice cream on the weekend.
I like this girl but I’m assuming she is just saying no, but she’s too cowardly to be direct

Ask her to get pizza. You said she likes to take things very slow. Wouldn’t necessarily assume she’s rejecting you.
Ask her what she would like to do then, or sugest some other date
If she makes up another excuse it’s prob a rejection, and if she says yes to different options she just didn’t felt like having Ice cream.
Nah if shes taking it slow she may want to wait a bit longer before having another date. She may want to do something more than just eating ice cream, maybe doing something like going to the zoo
