Women who didn’t make it in their first choice of career for whatever reason: what do you do professionally now? Do you enjoy it?

  1. I thought I wanted to be in tech, and quit after almost 3 years of literally hating my job. I was so insanely inundated in climbing the never ending ladder, and when I quit I was so incredibly aimless. I switched to the educational non profit sector, and am happier than ever. I tell my directors constantly that I will be here for as long as possible. Admittedly, I took an insane pay cut, but I am much happier and I feel like I live a fuller life beyond just my career.

  2. I initially wanted to become a flight attendant to travel for free, however, recruitment took time and another company got me. I’m currently a banker and I like it coz it pays the bill 💵
