For context, I’m a Korean guy in my mid 20s based in SoCal. I’m new to the dating scene and downloaded dating apps 2 weeks ago. I’ve noticed a huge disparity between Tinder/Bumble and Hinge in terms of the quality and # of matches I get between the two.
I would say I’m a pretty attractive guy. In the two weeks I’ve been on Hinge, I’ve had around 150+ matches with girls of all races, that were much more attractive with higher quality profiles, but for Tinder/Bumble I would probably get 1 maybe 2 matches a day, if that, with girls that are less attractive.
I’m not looking for anything serious atm and I know that Tinder is the go to for hookups/casual meetups, and I’d love to know if your experiences are similar to mine and whether this is normal? Thanks!

Well tinder is a hook up app. Most attractive women demand more than a hook up…
No idea, it could be an algorithm thing, it could just be that maybe you’re more desirable to girls looking for something serious.
