Do you stroke your hair while meet a stranger and why?

1. What? No, why would I do that specifically?

2. I touch my hair all the time. I’m an anxious wreck, and I do it regardless of who I’m talking to or what I’m doing.

3. No but I stroke my hair all the time. It’s very soft to touch and it’s nice having something silky at hand. I’ve just realised it may have something to do with the fact that when I sucked my thumb as a child, I always needed silk in the other hand.

   I don’t suck my thumb anymore but damn…

No. I know from years of reading this sub and participating here that an endless line of men are out there interacting with strangers on a daily basis and becoming absolutely convinced that the lady they talked to yesterday, who absentmindedly ran her fingers through her hair, secretly wanted to throw them down on the sidewalk and fuck their brains out.

5. I never stroke my hair. That would get a lot of gross hand oils and dirt into it.

7. I touch my hair regardless of who I’m with. I touch my hair when I’m alone. It’s my emotional support hair.

8. Not really. My hair is too short for me to do is casually and I don’t like to touch my hair more than necessary. Makes my hair oily

9. I think I do, if it’s down. Or I fidget with jewelry if I’m wearing it. I don’t exactly know why – nerves/excess energy?

10. That is such a stupid myth that some man decided MUST be a sign of interest, when actually women are human {GASP – such a shock} without a hive mind that makes them all act the way a man fantasizes about.

11. I usually wear my hair in a bun so it would look pretty odd if I was doing that.
