Those who work from home full time, what are some necessities that you can’t live/work without?

1. My dog makes working from home 100x better than it would be without him. My big ass 34” monitor is better than anything I’d have at the office. My fiancée working from home is nice too. She is a necessity.

2. Coffee.

   This was true at the office too. But more so at home. Not a single work related task or thought occurs before I have a mug of coffee in hand.

3. * Standing desk
   * Caffeine products
   * Snacks made up of nuts and meats
   * Comfortable noise cancelling headphones
   * Comfortable slippers
   * Gunnar Glasses
   * Air conditioning
   * Wireless mouse and keyboard
   * Using 50inch TV as monitor

4. Been working remote since March 2020.

   Biggest game changers:

   – Ultrawide monitor (or dual monitors)
   – Standing desk
   – Mouse Jiggler

6. A quality standing desk changed my home office life. Same with a decent office chair; it’s hard to justify spending the amount I absolutely should spend on a chair that I sit in 8 hours a day, but a standing desk with wireless mouse/keyboard/headphones so I can be somewhat mobile and stretch my legs through the day makes a massive difference.

   I’ll echo the bigger screens comments as well; I cheaped out a bit there and just went with a 29″ ultra wide, but my next will be 34+”.

   And if your SO works from home, be sure to keep things equitable!

7. Make a nice area for virtual meetings, maybe lighting or something professional but shows your personality – if you’re gonna be on tv might as well look the part.

   Also loop your mouse around an oscillating fan so your messaging platform always shows you as Ready.
