Sex is a team game. My advice would be to openly communicate that your are starting from scratch and want verbal feedback every step of the way. Be open about your limited experience. If he’s a good dude he will support you on you journey to develop your skills.
It’ll all depend on how comfortable your bf is sexually and how well he’s able to communicate in the moment. Encourage him to vocalize his pleasure and provide feedback as to what he does/doesn’t enjoy.
As for specific tips, most guys appreciate if you use some lubrication. If he’s wearing a condom, make sure to get a condom-safe lubricant. If not, coconut oil is a good, discreet one to try. Your own vaginal lubrication can also be a really hot thing to use, depending on your own wetness. I wouldn’t recommend spit, as it dries pretty quickly outside of your mouth.
For techniques, explore his body and see what gives a good reaction. If he’s willing to let you watch him masturbate, that can also give you great examples of what to emulate. In general, start with lighter touches and only increase the firmness of your caresses gradually; you shouldn’t try to crush him with your grip unless he specifically requests it. Some guys like their balls (gently) played with, some don’t.
Don’t grab it so hard. A dick can be very sensitive, especially the tip. Play with his balls but be very gentle with them also.
Have him show you how he does it himself. Watch closely then try to duplicate what he was doing. Its what my wife and I did years ago and now she is terrific at getting me of.
