Here are some of mine based on what I’ve experienced:
* Pros:
– More options; can see multiple people at the same time and weight out who aligns with your values, goals, and standards.
– More time to get to know them.
* Cons:
– Hookups / friends-with-benefits
– Kids before marriage
– Lack of efficient communication
– Social media exposure
What are some of your Pros & Cons in today’s dating culture?

Pros
1. Not viewing break ups/divorces as “giving up”
2. People (women in particular) having the freedom to explore themselves sexually with partners without being shamed.
3. Dating apps, I personally hate them but won’t deny that it’s a quick way to find someone in comparison to just shooting your shot in the real world.
4. Normalizing open communication and speaking out about concerns
Cons
1. The internet as a whole has created a feeling of distance I feel. Like, just waving and saying good morning to someone as you walk by is somehow weird by today’s standards.
2. Not a lot of places aside from bars for adults to find people to socialize with
3. “Alpha males” lol
Those are the big general ones for me.
Pros:
– Freedom to do litterallly anything
– More balanced expectations (aka many people would understand that demanding standards they can’t meet themselves is douchy)
– People have absolute control over their likings
Cons
– Some people got obsessed by it,to the degree that they deem their value as a person as correlated with their success in dating.
– Some people are superficial (and the superficiality increases even more the more someone uses dating Apps for anything other than hookups)
– Some people get preety bitter by their failures in dating apps(especially men, which is imo silly because dating apps are unfavorable to men just by who screwed the demographics are)
