Hi,
I’m a new teacher expecting to be contacted with an offer soon and I am so nervous about what to say on the phone? This may sound silly but I have bad social anxiety that I am working on but still kicks up on phone calls.
Would anyone be willing to share thoughts on what to say and how to make this call go smoothly and non awkwardly?

Try to show genuine excitement and passion for this new role you’re about to begin.
“I’m thrilled by your offer, but for legal reasons i’ll need that in writing. Thank you so much for your understanding.” That way you’re not forced into replying immediately.
