What are you getting your wife/mother for Mother’s Day?

  1. Do you mean mother and or wife or are you asking what people who married their mothers are getting them? Cause the question isn’t clear and the latter is kinda fucked up.

  2. Nothing.

Maybe i will do that learning situation thingy that she has been bothering me with, but since i haven’t done it because i’m busy, it’s not very likely.

  3. My wife loves hanging baskets and asks for them specifically each year. So the kids each pick out one and I pick out one. We put them up in the morning on Mother’s Day and have coffee outside. It’s a lot of fun!

  4. No mother or wife but I’m giving my sister a day at her favorite spa as a thanks for getting the family off my back about not having kids since she had 3.

  5. Just a card, she has palsy now. I always used to get her really fancy flowers but with her health in the state its in….Its kinder if I just make it simple.

  6. Nothing for my mom because she doesn’t like receiving gifts or the holiday in general.

For my grandma, I might get her a card.

  7. I got my Grandma a framed print of humming birds eating from a rose, done in the Alaskan Native art style.

  8. Wife gets my best home cooked meal which is skillet sautéed mahi-mahi. Lots of lemon and herbs. Stir fried veggies and a sweet potato. Oh, and all the martinis it takes to start the party.

  9. When I was a kid, my dad and I would make my mom breakfast and coffee and bring her breakfast in bed. They had a no food in bed rule that could be broken for special occasions and that was one of them. After breakfast, we’d go for a walk at her favorite lake nearby and get DQ. She always got the Peanut Buster Parfait with extra peanuts.

  10. My wife gets flowers at her request. My Mom, every year I take her to a restaurant of her choice for a good meal and good laughs, my treat of course.

  11. My Mother doesn’t want anything, so we are inviting both Mothers to supper instead.

For my wife, hairdryer. A good one.

  12. A phone call. My mom doesn’t really do gifts, and I’m hundreds of miles away, so just that she hears from her son is more than enough for her.
