I had posted a while back asking for what people thought about this app. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and my overall experience had been fine since I actually prefer having limited prospects and don’t like to swipe endlessly.
Anyway, I woke up this morning to a message from someone I could have sworn I never “hearted.” As I’m reading the message confused about how this can happen, I see I have another message from the “concierge” saying something along the lines of, “Hey, (name) really wants to meet you. They are successful but super busy so I’m helping them. I will put them in your next batch and if you’d like to meet them, heart them back. I really think you’ll hit it off!” What the heck?! He wasn’t in my batch and just randomly messaged me.
I’m curious about what you all think about it. Felt pretty violating and not sure I’ll be keeping the app.

How did you manage to get on the app?
Secondly, what’s wrong with someone who is interested in you, utilizing the app’s likely paid features, to increase the probability of getting to know you/seeing if there is a compatibility?
I mean, you don’t have to respond do you?
If you don’t then I guess I don’t really see the issue?
Can someone dumb it down for me?
This is one of those things where you’d probably love it if you happened to be into the guy, but since it sounds like you aren’t into him, you’re annoyed.
Just unmatch and let the concierge know that you’re not interested. It’s part of every dating app to reject people you aren’t interested in.
The concierge is a bot that sometimes just highlights a profile to you in that way because the other person has swiped right on yours / hit the heart button on league
I had that happen too. They’re paid users. The League is a mess.
