Man of Reddit: If you could design your dream man cave, what would it look like and what would be in it?

  1. Large u shaped sofa, bar with spirits and beer fridge. Small kitchen area with fridge and combi oven. Big screen tv and entertainment systems. Pool table and dart board. Dimmer switch lights and a really nice plush carpet.

  2. Kegerator, whiskey display shelf with an extensive collection, solid oak bar, pool table, 80” tv with a killer sound system, and plenty of seating for company. Walls covered in sports memorabilia and vintage beer signs.

  3. I’d go for recycling a basketball court as flooring, nice big staple-shaped sofa 1 large flatsceeen and 2 smaller crt’s to the side for retro gaming. Plain white walls decorated with music, game and movie icons memorabilia.
A bar on one side of the wall, pool table behind the sofa and a reading cubby in the corner

  4. Half cigar lounge, like classy bar with a good selection of spirits, cigars and good ventilation, old-school leather couches and a big tv, half hobby room with a nice table to play tabletop games on and do nerd stuff.

Hideable poles for, uhm dancing, also included.

The whole thing is to be openable to a nice terrace in order to habe some great BBQs and to be able to enjoy the sun.

  5. Dark, warm

Sufficient brush to lie down and get comfy… few animal carcasses/bones scattered about in case I wake up and get hungry

  6. I’m not in with the whole premise. My home is my space, I share it with my family and I like that. “What would be in it?” My wife, for one thing

  7. Dark wood, comfy chairs, technology projects on a workbench, urinal closet, decent A/V system.

  8. It would be round, clean, no imperfections, silent, lonely, dark, and with a bed, some consoles, a pc and a tv… and probably food…

  9. On a mountain side surrounded by a lake, at least 100m deep and with a small entrance to ensure its warm inside the rock, heaters and a bonfire in the middle; with all sorts of amenities inside to be comfortable and plenty of food and water.

  10. I’d probably just use the money to slowly build up a Chinese garden (Search Lan Su Garden on Google for an idea).

And then let the public enjoy it once I’m finished.

  11. Secret entrance behind a bookshelf.
It would have a bar and a minifridge to have drinks/snacks near us. A large couch in front of a big TV. A nice table and chairs to play boardgames and D&D.
It would be nice if it’s subtly decorated like a medieval tavern.
