At the start of the year I met this girl in class and I quickly got attached to her. We talked for like 15 minutes every other day. After two weeks though she disappeared suddenly, I asked around and found out she got transferred to another university. So, last night a classmate of mine followed me on instagram, and I went into his followers just to see if I know anyone, and I immediately saw her name and recognized her face, I followed her and she followed me back in a couple hours. So now I’m wondering if it’s weird if I DM her like “hey remember me”.

you’ve got nothing to lose. if she responds then that’s good, and if she doesn’t it won’t matter anyway bcs you won’t have to see her at uni
Not creepy at all! Just format it like this “Hi! I’m u/black_bird00500. I met you last year at X university. How have you been?”, or something similar.
