There are nights like these where I crave sexual intimacy more than usual and I find it very cumbersome. Since I’m single, I always just think back on my last ex and all the ways he pleasured me in which I couldn’t achieve by myself. Then I wonder what would happen if I messaged him asking for a slice of a night full of lost pleasures, even though I do not want to be in a romantic relationship in any way shape or form. I also can’t justify spending my time with a complete stranger off a dating app. I just want the familiarity of a person I was physically close with. Would it be a bad idea?

Depends how bad the break up was and how amicable you are with him. Only you can judge it
It’s a bad idea **only if** you’re the type of person who doesn’t handle rejection well or if he’s the type of person who might turn the situation into something nasty, like mocking you for expressing your desires.
