so i’m just going into high school, and i had a tuff year last year, i was a pushover with almost everybody and no one respected me. i’m going to a vocational high school and barley anyone from my old school are there. i play football, so in the summer workouts without anyone from my old school i learned from my mistakes and people respect me. i just had my schools orientation and i was in a group with my new football friends who’ve never seen me get disrespected and have no clue how i was treated at my old school. the problem was there was 2 kids from my old school, one of them was acting like a puppet to the other one. i don’t have any problems with the puppet kid, but the other kid was one of the main people that would walk all over me. they all know things that get to me. the kid that would walk all over me said “hey, if we get in trouble for being too loud, blame (my name)”, i acted like i didn’t hear him, because i didn’t know what to do. i used to just say “shut up” or “you think your funny?”, but then they know it would get to me. when i ignored it most of the people just waited for my reaction, and when i didn’t give one, they went along with the conversation. the puppet kid laughed and the main kid waited for my reaction. i don’t know if i did the right thing, and if i did, what should i do if he disrespects me again? i have spent this whole summer trying to rebuild myself, and i feel like it’s all gonna crash down if he keeps doing this.

  1. if you couldn’t tell, i’m not good with comebacks, so if you can come up with one i can use that would be great. this kid is tall, skinny, has long hair that he puts into a man bun, he talks like bevis, dresses like a skater boy, and plays baseball, which he’s decent at. i’m tall, not skinny, but not six pack fit, just kinda in the middle. i’ve never been in an actual fight but i don’t think he has either. so if we do fight i could probably beat his ass. i used to get disrespected all the time, with things like “shut up”, or “qb1” (there a deeper meaning to that)
