I came to the US on vacation, to see the country and meet this guy I met online. We ended up getting married and I stayed. I now realise I’ve made a mistake, and he’s not the man I thought he was. Because of my green card application not being approved yet, I don’t know how to leave him. I just got a job making 12$ an hour, and I walk 4 miles to get there and back home every day. I don’t make enough to get my own place. I’m still waiting for my driver license and I’m buying his old car when I get it. That’s more money I need to save up.. I’m not sure what to do… going back to my home country is not an option…

Why can’t your go back to your own country? Were you not living there safely before? Staying with someone you don’t like and don’t love, fraudulently, will only hurt you later and be a waste of your time. Go back, don’t worry about being embarassed, your true friends and family will understand and want you to be happy, go get a fresh start!!
