What Made You Instantly Dump Your Boyfriend/Girlfriend?

Depends on the nature of the relationship that ended. The longer the relationship and the more the commitment, the longer the recovery time.
Call me old fashion, but I’d at least wait until she left the room.
I’m not good looking enough to immediately find another girlfriend after a breakup but if I could start dating immediately I would. Not everyone is so weak minded and mentally crumbles when facing adversity.
The best way to get over someone is to get under someone.
You don’t take *time off* dating after a break-up. You (hopefully) haven’t been dating since you’ve been in a relationship.
That said, when you want to start back up usually depends on how invested you were in the relationship and how it ended. If not that invested or ended on my own terms, I’d prob get back out there pretty quick. If the other way around, it might take a while to process things and move on.
I waited about three months, then realized I still wasn’t fully ready, so now I’m taking the remainder of the year off. I was dumped and given no closure, discovered my ex was already seeing people before the split, so needless to say it hurt and still does. I need time to rediscover myself and fall in love with me again, not seek approval from others.
3 years
Depends how long the drive is to my backup girl.
Normally a year or so. It’s important to get being single out of your system.
Shortest: 1 day. Longest: Almost 4 years and countin g. Average: about 3 years
Until I forget how emotional & illogical women are.
Well I play basketball, so I’m always going for the rebound.
Some of my friends go for loose balls.
Ten years is a nice round number
By the time I break up… I usually am so ready to just be able to take a nap without considering how it would affect another human being… That I usually need about 3 years before I even think about signing up for that again.
