Hey!
I currently work in data, but I was looking at other fields like speech therapy (slp)
I do not have anything against data and I try not to associate my value as a person to work, but sometimes I feel like I could be doing soemthing else.
A girl who goes to my gym recommended slp since:
– I like studying language
– I am very patient and used to tying to communicate with a wide audience
I went to a few open houses and shadowed an slp and the work seems cool and interesting
That being said – I have a lot of concerns about slp:
– very early salary cap
– not alot of room for career growth
– I would have to go back to school for a post-bacc and a masters.
– I already make more than slp in my are and I am barely doing it.
Have you ever been in a similar position?
