I (23F) live by myself so I’m probably being over cautious but i found it strange.
A random 30 ish years old guy came to my door today at 11am claiming to be from Parcelforce asking if I missed a delivery last month because he had it down as missing and wanted to chase it up. I asked where the package was from, he didn’t know. I asked what the name on the package was, he didn’t know. He said he just had the address.
He had a vest on and one of those electronic reader things so he looked legit but I never reported a parcel missing and haven’t noticed anything nor arriving.
Tried to phone parcelforce but waiting 40+ minutes and gave up, does this sound legit to you?

It sounds very sketchy especially him having the address and nothing else, and conversations about missing parcels would be a good way to find out if people are normally about during the day.
I’ve never heard of Parcelforce (or any other courier firm) being that pro-active. Sounds really suspicious to me.
