A bit about myself I’m 31m and have basically no dating experience. I have social anxiety so it can make things challenging sometimes. This week has been interesting with all the random encounters I’ve been having with coworkers of the past. I first bump into a girl I liked but the conversation hasn’t gone anywhere.
And then I messaged a few old coworkers of mine saying I wanted to host a little get together. I stopped working there a month and a half ago and I wanted to reconnect. The store we worked at was a new location and we all started together or within the first few months of it opening so all senior members of the team being together for 2.5-3yrs. Everyone was cool with meeting up but something else came out of it.
One of the girls I messaged made a comment in the past that she would go out with me if I wasn’t her manager. Well she has taken me up on that offer. We started talking after me inviting her and now we are going to dinner tonight to catch up in person. I have no idea what is going on happen but I’m not going to expect anything. Just going in blind and gonna just try and talk like old times at work.
