I will feel judged and ashamed.

  1. “Kicked back and relaxed, got some organizing done, prepped for the fall.” There’s no need to be overly specific.

  2. Why would you worried about, something productive is chill at home and that’s probably what you did, probably learn to cook something or just read a book.

Don’t let judgement from people that doesn’t matter bother you.

    Have a good day.

  3. Say you enjoyed your summer to the fullest.. if they ask about travels say you enjoy being home and chose to stay home .. no need to show off or feel the need to overcompensate. No one cares as much as you do, you’re judging and ashamed based off hypotheticals

And if someone does hard judge u I’d feel more ashamed for them forming conclusions like that. Stay confident, you enjoyed your summer and summers are there for whatever u want it to be. You won’t have summers like this when you’re an adult in a non teaching career.. enjoy your summer while they last.. with whatever YOU want to do. At home or not, “productive” or not, which also has different meanings for different people.

  4. Great advice. I tend to overthink this sort of thing so these replies are very helpful
