So I’ve (28F) known this guy (31M) for a little less than two weeks. We met on Hinge and have been texting back and forth, mostly voice messages and it’s been really enjoyable. Last week we had a video call and I guess you could count that as a first date. He lives in a city about an hour and a half away with public transport, and we are now planning his visit to my city at the end of this week, since our video call went pretty well. He has a coworker from my hometown who he said he’d like to see during this visit if it works out. So he mentioned in his last messages that he might book a hotel and leave the next day. He followed it up with saying he’s worried about missing his bus back as it’s happened to him before that he came to my city and missed the bus. He said he can meet his coworker the next day if he books a hotel room. When he sent those messages I didn’t think much of it, but now I’m beginning to question it. Am I reading too much into it? There’s no way for me to know if he’s implying anything sexual but I don’t even know. I’m not super experienced in dating or online-dating and I definitely do not want to do anything sexual with someone the first time I meet them. We haven’t discussed anything of that nature anyway.

I was thinking of just continuing the conversation as normal and planning our day together without thinking of the hotel or mentioning it. It really might have been innocent and him thinking of logistics. I really have no idea.

  1. It could be a hint that he’s got a spot to hook up at.
It could be a telling like ‘i have a sleeping spot so the date can be as long we want’

Idk, could be anything honestly. If he’s been friendly, normal and respectful till now through text, i don’t see why you should assume implications instantly.
