I have noticed my boyfriends comment sections on
Instagram was blocked for comments, but he only had old pictures so I was ok with that. Today he posted something new, and the comments were still blocked. He said he just likes to post but he does not like nobody commenting on it. I said ok, just make an exception for me, open it real quick, I leave a comment and you close again. He said no. I think it’s really suspicious. He is working far from me right now so I will just see him in 2 months. We don’t have any pictures together on our instagrams. I insisted and he asked me to stop worrying about this and I am being a child for giving such importance to social media since l’m real life evervone knows about us. I would like to hear some other perspectives about it. I’m I really being a child to bother about these “not important” things or there could be something else behind it?

i think that’s pretty sus, but it depends. does he have a lot of followers who leave a lot of comments, or are you the only major commenter?
it doesn’t seem like a general red flag if they’ve always been blocked,, maybe it isn’t his thing,, but if it’s important to YOU to be able to comment and he refuses, he’s not valuing you in the way that you deserve. it’s such a small thing.
