let’s say in this metaphorical scenario I’m in or past puberty ages and want to be around a girls family because i think they are cool people. How would I be able to have them know that is purely my reason and it is not to try and get laid.

  3. You don’t have faculty over other people’s thoughts. They’re free to think whatever they want to. Be concerned with yourself. There is no such thing as straight up telling the truth, there is just the truth. You know how to be truthful and genuine. That is all you can do.

  4. Well, if she’s attracted to you then you need to make it clear to her that you’re just interested in friendship. If you’ve socially been around some of her family members, make social plans with those other family members and be clear about it with her. There’s no reason you all can’t be friendly.
