I’ve been told I’m a very good conversationalist by people I’m able to talk with at length (5 minutes)
I’m terrible when the convo has to be QUICK though, when lots of things are going on (30 seconds to 2 mins)
It seems people don’t really want to talk to me in these situations or I can tell they lose interest.
What exactly am I doing wrong?

30 seconds to 2 mins isn’t really enough time to have a convo, honestly just pleasantries works well for that short of a time limit. Just a how are you and maybe a follow up question or two to show you are interested and some may even return the energy.
