Ok so i finally asked out this girl in my group project in my marketing class that i’ve been interested in all semester. When i popped the question she basically said, “i usually only go out with people i know really well and i don’t know you that well.” so i straight up asked if that was a no. she then replied saying, “it’s not a no, i would just have to get to know you better before i really decide.” so i asked how she would get to know me better at this point in the semester and she said i should text her. is this still worth pursuing or should i give it up?

She gave you her consent to talk to her. If she ignores you texts, and doesn’t interact in a way you like over time, yeah give up.
But, uh, she just said she is interested in chatting, or potentially said that lol.
