I never heard of it but it accepts 97% of applicants.
They were getting investigated so they changed to “not-for-profit” which is way different than non-profit.
From what I am reading you are way better off going to a community college and saving tens of thousands.
It makes me think of a learning institution in 19th century Prussia.
Never heard of it before. It doesn’t look immediately like a degree mill, but their “not for profit” status, academic reputation, affordability, and accreditation might be worth investigating further. What’s attracting you to this place?
It appears to have regional accreditation through a legitimate accreditor. (In the US regional accreditation is considered the most legitimate.)
So I’d say that it is a “legit” university. This doesn’t mean that its programs are particularly good, or that it offers a good value. It was a for-profit institution until about a decade ago. During the ’00s a lot of for-profit institutions developed justified reputations for a lack of academic rigor.
Keiser University….some people call it Sling Blade University
They’re “regionally accredited”, which is a really good sign that they’re legit.
A lot of people get regional and national accreditation backwards. A national accreditation is barely better than a snip of toilet paper.
But a regional accreditation? That’s rock solid stuff.
It may be legit, but its not really a respected school and a quick look at the rankings puts them pretty low on the boards
Never heard of it, sounds like one of the shady for-profit online universities
I assume that it would be a university dedicated to training people to be the Emperor of Germany for possible time traveling jobs and that all professors wear silly old timey costumes.
Time for an old person life hack. The better Business Bureau is legit.
They give this place an F.

It’s accredited by SACS, which is good, but it also appears to have been for-profit in the past, which is bad.
Honestly, I would try to find an alternative. The tuition seems pretty high for something with such little name recognition.
I went to Keiser University in Sarasota Florida and got an AS degree in Information Technology
Don’t do it. Find a state school that is accredited regionally and not nationally. Regional accreditation is only for legit schools and that are recognized by the state and other countries.
