This happened a month ago with a partner I’m no longer on speaking terms with, so I can’t ask her directly despite that being the most logical way to get my answer. It was my first time, so I was honestly just super confused and too nervous in the heat of the moment to ask her why. My guess is it was maybe a way for her to acclimate to my size, or maybe she wasn’t wet enough and needed more time. It just seemed odd

It could have been too quick and she needed a minute to adjust or relax as it wasn’t lubed/wet enough.
