I’ve been terrified of meeting someone from a dating app for as long as dating apps have existed. After several years, I finally did it. Did it go amazing? No. Did it go terribly wrong? No. Was it as intimidating as I built it up to be in my head? Absolutely not. It was just a nice step in a direction I’ve been too afraid walk in. I feel good. Just wanted to share that.

congrats! I had a similar experience but I waited until I was 28 years old to have this realisation. I really wish I realised sooner that a first date isn’t a big deal. I guess everyone’s on there own timeline so i shouldn’t look back – i’ve had some good dating experiences since then and i’m sure you will too!
Great job, I haven’t even gotten that far just wanting to talk with one to see where it goes see if there’s chemistry.

Congrats! It’s a big first step. I met an amazing person on a dating site, after not dating for 7 years. Now you can move onto finding your person after taking that first step!
